Rubus occidentalis 'Crimson Night'
Crimson Night raspberry is a very ornamental raspberry with dark purple canes and delicious large dark red-purple berries that lends it self to container growing. Crimson Night was introduced by Cornell University in 2012. Prolific dark red-purple berries are extremely flavorful and plant is very disease resistant. It will produce two heavy crops of berries, if previous years canes (Floricanes) are not cut back (or winter damaged)they will produce berries that ripen in mid-summer, new canes (Primocanes) will produce berries that ripen in late summer through early fall. Zones 4-8
